Asparagus With Tangy Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Cook asparagus in boiling water until tender; drain.
    While asparagus is cooking, make the sauce by combining sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice and mustard in small saucepan.
    Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly heated.
    Pour sauce over hot asparagus or serve separately in bowl and let everyone help themselves.
    Garnish with chopped pimento if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
