Ingredients

1 c. chopped suet
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. seeded raisins
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. currants
1/2 c. chopped citron
1/2 c. hot milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. orange juice
5 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients and half fill a mold or a 9 x 5 x 2-inch loaf pan.
Steam for 4 hours.
Cool and chill.
Reheat for serving with butter.
Keep in the refrigerator.
