24 Hour Egg Omelet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices white sandwich bread, crusts trimmed
    3/4 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
Preparation
    Butter one side of bread.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
    Place bread evenly in well-greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with cheese and sausage.
    Beat together eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper. Pour over bread mix.
    Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
    Bake, covered, in oven at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour, or until mix is set. Uncover last 5 minutes of baking.
    Makes 8 servings.
