Easy Oven Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 stalks celery, chopped
4 carrots, sliced
2 onions, chopped
1/4 c. frozen peas
1 can tomato soup
1/2 can water
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
Preparation

Place beef in a 3-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt, basil and pepper.
Top with celery, carrots, potatoes, onions and peas.
Combine soup and water.
Pour over meat and vegetables, coating all pieces. Cover tightly and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours. Makes its own gravy.
This recipe can be doubled or tripled for a larger amount.
