Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 large onion, chopped fine

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add milk and egg; stir in onions.
Shape dough into balls.
Drop in deep fat and fry until brown.
