Talagrini Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. asparagus
    1/4 c. slivered ham or prosciutto
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 thinly sliced carrot
    1 diced zucchini
    3 sliced green onions
    1/2 c. thawed frozen green peas
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash ground nutmeg
    dash pepper
    1 c. half and half
    1/4 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
    1 pkg. noodles
Preparation
    In a large pan, boil water and cook noodles.
    Diagonally cut asparagus into 1 inch lengths.
    In a wide frying pan over medium heat melt butter.
    Add the ham, asparagus, carrot and zucchini. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes without a lid.
    After that cover the pan and cook for 1 minute longer.
    Now add the green onions, peas, basil, salt, nutmeg, pepper and half and half to the mixture.
    Increase the heat to high and cook until the liquid begins to boil.
    Mix with noodles and top with parmesan cheese.
    Makes 3 to 5 servings.
