Belgian Panapiss(Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. raisins
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. Crisco
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
4 tsp. soda
1 c. molasses, jelly or honey
5 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Combine water, sugar, raisins, cinnamon and Crisco in large bowl; set aside.
Combine eggs, vanilla, baking soda and flour. Combine both mixtures.
Add the salt and the nuts.
Bake in greased bread pans at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
