Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. diced onion or 1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. salad or olive oil
1 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. diced celery
1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 c. catsup
2 c. stock from roast or soup, or water and bouillon cube
1 c. green pepper, diced
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry the onion or garlic slightly in the oil; add other ingredients and cook slowly for 1 hour.
Liquid should be reduced about 1/2 and sauce should be well blended.
Dip all meat except fowl in sauce before roasting or broiling or baste with sauce during roasting either in oven or on outdoor grill.
