Shrimp Etouffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. garlic, minced
    1 tsp. shortening
    3 c. shrimp tails
    parsley, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine onions, bell pepper and garlic. Add shortening. Cook until golden brown. Add shrimp, salt, pepper and parsley. Cook about 20 minutes over medium heat until golden brown. Serve over rice.
