Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

20 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
3 large purple onions
2 to 3 bell peppers
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed
3 c. white vinegar

Preparation

Combine ingredients.
Add to cucumber mixture.
Let come to a boil.
As soon as mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat.
Seal in jars.
