Layered Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
    3 eggs
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine the first 3 ingredients; beat until smooth.
    Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla, beating until combined.
    Spoon into pastry shell.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat well and pour over pecans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, or until set.
    Yields one 9-inch pie.
