Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    4 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs singlely, beating after each.
    Sift flour before measuring.
    Add other dry ingredients, then sift again.
    Add alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
