Aunt Pat'S Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. reserved pineapple juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 can Queen Anne cherries, pitted
    1 large can mandarin orange slices
    1 large can pineapple chunks (unsweetened)
    1 c. mini marshmallows
    1 c. whipped cream or Dream Whip
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks, sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and butter in top of double boiler or heavy saucepan.
    Heat, stirring constantly, until texture is custard-like. Remove from heat. Drain the canned fruit.
    Mix with marshmallows.
