Lemon Layer Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. milk
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar.
Add extracts.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
