Corn Chowder(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans chicken broth
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 medium carrot, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. thyme and tarragon
    2 cans creamed corn
    1/2 c. half and half
    2 tsp. pimento
    1 c. smoked ham
    6 medium potatoes
Preparation
    Combine broth, ham, onion, carrot and potatoes. Add herbs. Cook until potatoes are done. Mash potatoes. Add corn and half and half. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in pimento.
