Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 well beaten eggs
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla.
Let mixture stand one hour at room temperature.
Cream shortening with the sugars until light and fluffy.
Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon into the creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Blend in egg mixture.
Stir in rolled oats and walnuts.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes about 8 dozen.
