Glossy Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, grated
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch; add chocolate.
    Add water.
    Cook until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat and add margarine and vanilla.
    Spread on cake while frosting is hot for a glossy frosting which remains soft and smooth.
    Frosts one 9 x 9-inch square cake.
