Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole fryer, deboned
    4 sticks celery
    cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 can chestnuts
    1 can bamboo shoots
    salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste
Preparation
    Cook fryer until tender.
    Cool and debone.
    Cook onion and celery in small amount of water.
    Add chestnuts and bamboo shoots in small amount of broth.
    Cook cabbage; don't overcook.
    Add all salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste.
    Cook rice in broth.
    Serve as side dish or with chow mein.
