Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks of butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon or almond extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream together crisco, butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
Add extracts and milk; blend.
Mix in salt and flour.
Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan.
Bake for 2 hours.
Do not open the oven during baking time.
