Peppered Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into strips
    2 cans beef broth
    2 bell peppers, cut in strips
    1/4 c. each: water and soy sauce
    2 large tomatoes, cut in wedges
    paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with paprika.
    Brown in butter with garlic pieces; add broth and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Stir in onion and green peppers.
    Cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Cook, stirring, until slightly thickened and broth has a shiny look.
    Add tomatoes and stir in gently just long enough to heat tomatoes through.
    Serve over rice.
