Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine. Cream in egg. Add vanilla. Sift flour and soda gradually into creamy mixture. After well blended, pinch off thumb-sized pieces and roll into ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0. Makes about 40 cakes.
