Out-Of-This-World Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple (with juice)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) box cherry gelatin
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. chopped pecans
2 baked pastry shells
Cool Whip

Preparation

In pan, combine pie filling, sugar, pineapple with juice and cornstarch. Cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and add gelatin. Stir well. When thoroughly cooled, add bananas and nuts. Pour into 2 pie shells. Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate.
