Basic Sangria - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (750 ml) bottle full-bodied red wine
    1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) brandy
    1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 orange, sliced
    1 lemon, sliced
    2 Tbsp. pineapple chunks
    seltzer water (optional)
Preparation
    In a large pitcher, combine wine, brandy, Triple Sec, sugar and fruit.
    Stir to dissolve sugar.
    Serve over ice.
    If desired, add seltzer water to mixture in pitcher for a lighter quaff. Makes 6 drinks more if you add seltzer.
