Thick Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
    2 qt. water
    3 bouillon cubes
    3 onions, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    1 (1 lb.) can chopped tomatoes
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. quick cooking rice
    1/2 c. quick cooking barley
Preparation
    Place meat in a 4-quart casserole.
    Microwave 5 minutes on High (100%), stirring twice.
    Add remaining ingredients and cover. Microwave on High (100%), or simmer on stove 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Let stand, covered, 30 minutes before serving.
