Mountain Lamb Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 lamb shoulder chops (2 lb.)
    2 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
Preparation
    Combine olive oil, lemon juice, salt, oregano and pepper in large shallow baking dish.
    Add lamb chops; turn to coat both sides with marinade.
    Cover and marinate for 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
    Melt Crisco in large heavy skillet over medium heat.
    Put chops in skillet.
    Cook until meat is tender and browned.
