Beef Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    4 oz. noodles, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, cut up
    3 lb. green pepper, chopped
    3/4 c. salted cashew nuts (if desired), chopped
Preparation
    Brown onion, celery and green pepper in a little butter.
    Add salted beef and brown.
    Add soups and milk, blended with mayonnaise.
    Cook noodles which have been chopped.
    Place combined ingredients in a greased casserole and top with chopped cashews. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
