Cabbage Tamales - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, washed and drained
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    1 doz. outside cabbage leaves
    1 finely chopped onion
    2 cans tomato pulp
    2 tsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. catsup
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly the meat and rice with the other ingredients (except cabbage leaves, water, shortening and catsup).
    Soak cabbage leaves in hot water about 10 minutes.
