German Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. boneless stew meat, cubed
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. sweet peas
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put meat in large pot and boil until almost done (adding just enough water to cover).
    Add potatoes, carrots and cabbage; boil until tender before adding peas and bacon drippings.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
