Peach Cobbler Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 (No 2 1/2 oz.) can peaches with juice
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt oleo in large oblong baking dish.
    Add peaches (slices and juice) to the oblong dish.
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; add milk and vanilla.
    Pour batter over top of peaches; sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
