Frugal Farmer Fat-Free Fowl (Finish)(Three Part Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large carrots (at least), sliced thin
    2 stalks celery (hearts and leaves add flavor)
    1 c. turkey or chicken pieces
    1 c. dry noodles (cook separately and drain)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    3 chicken bouillon cubes (optional)
Preparation
    Roast turkey or chicken as usual, but reserve all bones when serving.
    In a covered pot, boil carcass, including all bones and skin, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    At least 3 quarts of water is needed for a large chicken, 4 quarts for a turkey, or more.
    Strain liquid and refrigerate overnight.
