Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. flour
    2 3/4 c. milk
    1 c. diced American cheese (approximately 8 slices)
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes into round slices.
    Cook potatoes in enough water to cover them until tender.
    Set aside.
    Mix 1 1/2 sticks butter, flour, milk, cheese, salt and black pepper.\tHeat mixture until cheese is melted.
    Drain potatoes and place in a baking dish.
    Pour sauce mixture over potatoes.
    Mix the cracker crumbs with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
    Sprinkle crumbs over potatoes and sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cracker crumbs are slightly toasted.
