Tanabour(Armenian Yogurt Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can chicken or beef broth
    1 c. pearl barley
    1 c. plain yogurt
    butter or margarine
    garlic to taste
Preparation
    Add 1 can of water to the soup.
    Cook the barley in the soup according to directions on the barley box.
    Just before serving, stir the yogurt into the barley/soup mixture.
    Separately melt the butter and add garlic (or garlic powder) to taste.
    Place on the table in a separate bowl.
    People may add the garlic butter to the soup according to their taste.
