Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sifted plain flour
1 onion, grated
1 Tbsp. sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with milk to desired consistency.
Drop by spoon in deep fat.
Excellent with fish.
