Zesty Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 rib pork chops
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/2 c. hickory ketchup (can mix barbecue sauce and ketchup)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. Worcestershire
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 apple, cored and sliced in 6 circles
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in oil and salt; drain.
    Combine other ingredients and reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture.
    Pour remaining over chops and simmer, covered, on low heat for 25 minutes, basting a few times.
    Place chops on sheet and put apple on each. Cover with reserved mixture.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
