Southern Baked Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. water
    1 c. grits
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1 lb. sausage, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to boil.
    Add grits, 1/2 cup butter and milk.
    Add eggs and cheese.
    Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
    Top with sausage and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
