Tomato Mac 'N Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 can condensed Italian tomato soup
    3/4 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to directions.
    Brown onion and meat; drain grease.
    Stir in soup, water and pepper.
    Fold drained macaroni into tomato mixture.
    If cheese topping is desired, put Tomato Mac 'N Meat in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 325\u00b0 until cheese melts.
