Breakfast Treat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white bread, with crust cut off
    3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Lightly butter bread.
    Put 6 slices in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with a layer of sausage and a layer of cheese.
    Repeat with other 6 slices of bread and sausage.
