Cream Cheese Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chocolate chips or peanut butter chips
    1 lb. plus 1 c. powdered sugar
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
Preparation
    Combine butter and cheese in saucepan and melt over low heat. Remove
    from
    heat;
    add
    chips
    and heat until melted. Remove from
    heat\tand
    beat
    in
    sugar gradually.
    Add salt, vanilla and
    nuts.\tPut
    into
    an
    8-inch square greased pan. Store in refrigerator about 2 hours and then cut into squares.
