Creole Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1/2 medium green pepper, sliced
1 large can tomatoes, drained and chopped
2 cans green beans, drained
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. cup drained tomato juice
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry bacon; retain grease.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Saute onion and green pepper in grease.
Add other ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Place crumbled bacon on top in serving bowl.
