One Dish Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 pork chops
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 onion (optional)
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in frying pan with onion (chopped or diced). Drain fat. Remove pork chops.
    Add remaining ingredients to frying pan.
    Place pork chops back in pan on top of rice.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
