Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 (3 oz.) box Jell-O (ex: strawberry)
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation

Cook cake according to directions.
Remove and allow to cool. Poke holes in cake with fork.
Mix Jell-O using 1 cup only of water.
Pour Jell-O over cake, making sure all holes have Jell-O in them.
Refrigerate until Jell-O is set in cake.
Cover with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
Cut into squares and garnish with strawberries, if desired.
