Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. salted peanuts
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water.
Mix well; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until mixture reaches 285\u00b0.
Remove from heat at once; stir in nuts and butter.
Cook, stirring constantly, until it reaches 295\u00b0.
Remove; add vanilla and baking soda.
Stir to blend.
Pour onto well-buttered sheet.
When cold, break into pieces.
