Oatmeal Nut Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. old fashioned oats
3/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. margarine
1 whole egg or 2 whites
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oats
Preparation

Mix well oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Cut in margarine until coarse crumbs.
Beat in egg and buttermilk. Add nuts.
Stir just until moistened.
Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Wonderful served with jelly at breakfast time.
