Hanover Tomato, Cheese And Herb Tart Appetizer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
4 Tbsp. ice water
6 tomatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick
4 oz. chevre (such as Montrachet)
1 Tbsp. fresh basil, minced
1 tsp. fresh thyme, minced
1 tsp. fresh oregano, minced
3 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

For Crust:
Combine flour and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Add just enough ice water to hold dough together.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out dough on lightly floured surface and transfer to an 11-inch tart pan with removable bottom.
Trim edges and freeze crust for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
