Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. whole pecans, walnuts or almonds
1/4 lb. margarine or butter
2/3 c. sugar
4 to 6 Hershey bars, broken up
Preparation

Line a round cake pan with nuts.
Melt margarine in saucepan; add sugar, stirring constantly.
Boil until mixture turns a medium tan color (about 6 to 7 minutes) over medium heat.
Pour over nuts.
Place chocolate pieces on top, spreading chocolate as it melts.
Refrigerate until hard.
Break into pieces.
