Refried Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked, drained pinto beans
    1/4 c. shortening or oil
    1/2 can tomatoes
    1/4 c. Pace picante sauce
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Put shortening in skillet.
    Add beans, one cup at a time, mashing after each addition.
    Add tomatoes and mash them, then the picante sauce.
    Taste for salt.
