Killed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

bacon
1 head cabbage
1 large onion
black pepper to taste
1 c. water
Preparation

Saute small bacon pieces until limp, but not brown.
Add cabbage (chopped fine) and onions (chopped).
Add pepper and water.
Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes until cabbage is soft.
I serve over fried potatoes.
Serves 4 generously.
