Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. corn meal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
chopped onion and/or garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well and add boiling water to make a thick paste.
Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil (375\u00b0).
