Daisy'S Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 (2 oz.) jar stuffed green olives, sliced
1 scant c. sugar
2 Tbsp. plain gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 pt. cream, whipped
Preparation

Soak gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes. Heat pineapple. Add sugar and lemon juice. Add soaked gelatin to hot mixture. When cool and beginning to set, add cheese, whipped cream, olives and nuts. Pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan and place in refrigerator to finish congealing. Serves 15.
