Tadpole-In-A-Hole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 beaten egg
1 (12 oz.) can vacuum-packed whole kernel corn
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (7 oz. or 8 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. small smoked sausage links

Preparation

Blend egg, undrained corn and half of the cheese.
Add muffin mix; stir until the dry ingredients are wet.
Spoon batter into an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Pat sausage links dry with paper towel. Arrange sausage links on top of the batter.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until top is golden.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Cut into squares.
